Terms of use

These terms form a contract between you — the contractor, retailer or organization using Showlot — and Showlot. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them.

Showlot generates photorealistic visualizations of outdoor projects (pools, pavers, pergolas, landscaping) from a property address, available imagery and your configuration choices. Accounts are organized per company; you can invite members with distinct roles.

You provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activity performed from your account. Report any unauthorized access to us without delay.

The service includes a number of free trial renders at sign-up. Reasonable quotas apply to prevent abuse. Paid plans and billing, when launched, will be announced in advance and covered by additional terms.

Renders produced by Showlot are AI-generated concept visualizations. They are not technical drawings, engineering or architectural plans, or land surveys, and they do not replace any required professional document.

• Dimensions, proportions, colours and placements are indicative and may differ from the real result.
• Project feasibility (municipal regulations, easements, ground conditions) must be verified independently.
• The final installed product may differ from the render shown to the client.

You agree to present renders to your clients as visualizations, not as a contractual commitment about the result.

You keep all rights to the content you upload (photos, logos, project information). You grant us the licence needed to host and process it in order to provide the service.

You warrant that you hold the required rights and authorizations — notably your client's authorization to use their property address and images.

You may use the generated renders in your commercial activities (quotes, presentations, client communications). Showlot offers no exclusivity guarantee: visually similar renders may be generated for other users.

By using the service, you agree to:

• Not circumvent security measures or attempt to access other organizations' data.
• Not generate or upload content that is illegal, misleading, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Not use the service to depict a property without legitimate authorization.
• Not resell the service or use it in a way that degrades its availability.

The processing of personal information is described in our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

The service evolves quickly: features may be added, changed or removed, and maintenance interruptions may occur. The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of continuous availability.

To the extent permitted by law — and subject to applicable mandatory provisions —, Showlot is not liable for indirect damages (loss of profits, business or data), and its total liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the service over the preceding twelve (12) months, or CAD $100 if the service was provided to you free of charge.

You may stop using the service and request the closure of your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, with reasonable notice when circumstances allow.

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Quebec.
